Tibetans had celebrated the Ongkor Festival in this early July

People who have their Tibet travel now can get a chance to visit the Ongkor Festival. The Ongkor Festival celebrated by Tibetan farmers between July and August of Tibetan calendar every year, praying for harvest of crops, is held on July 5, 2012 in Gonggar County of Shannan Prefecture.

People watch traditional performances during the Ongkor Festival. As an important part of Tibetan festivals, Tibetan Opera is often performed during the Shoton Festival, Tibetan New Year and the Ongkor Festival.
