Good News: Tibet Permit is available in late June, 2012

We just heard of a piece of good news: Tibet Permit is possibly available in late June, 2012. Some tourists traveling to Tibet might already know that no Tibet Permit was issued from late May to mid-June of this year.

It is even said that Tibet is closed to foreign travelers and the situation might last to October of this year. But now it is said that Tibet Tourism Bureau will begin to issue Tibet permit again from June 20, which indicates that Tibet will be reopened in late June of this year.

However, the situation of Tibet is really changeable and unpredictable. If you are traveling to Tibet this year, please prepare for any unexpected policy. Sometimes, the situation is really out of our control. But Tibet Travel Org is still trying the best to help you to get Tibet permit and find travel partners as required by the new policy on Tibet permit that foreign tourists to Tibet need 4 or more travel mates with the same nationality in a group to apply the permit.
