Tibetan costume embraces unique esthetic sentiment
With its profound cultural origin, the traditional Tibetan costume fully reflects the beauty of earthly naturalness as well as the beauty of strong manliness.
The Tibetan costume originated from the historical culture of the Tibetan ethnic group. The traditional culture, life style, eco-environment, climate and religious belief have all influenced their costume. The exchange with other ethnic groups has also an effect on it.
Vibrant colors are used to set off patterns and ornaments, one basic feature of the Tibetan costume.
Apart from the strong contrast, the Tibetan costume also shows high harmony.
Another feature of the Tibetan costume is to use a lot of gold ornaments, silver ornaments, jewels, etc. Gold and silver stand for dignity, luxury, elegance and purity. Therefore they become the favor of many ethnic groups to decorate their clothes, and so is the Tibetan costume.
