Tranquil Ranwu Lake makes tourists reluctant to leave

Sitting in the southwest of Basu County in Chamdo Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region, the dreamland Ranwu Lake covers 22 square kilometers, with an elevation of 3,850 meters above the sea level. It is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and glaciers, such as the Kangrigarbo La Snow Mountain lying to the west of the lake, the Arza Gongla Glacier to the south and the Boshu Laling to the northeast.
When the snow and ice melt, water flows into the lake becoming the major supplementary water resource of the lake. Its pure blue water together with the surrounding green grass and white snowy mountains makes up a picturesque Ranwu Lake.
