In The center of the Tibetian district
Lhasa is the the center of Tibetian culture and this Hotel is in the Tibetian district, a few minutes from Jokhang temple and Barkhor market. All the district is an big market and you can spend here around some nice hours. The Hotel is quiet and clen. Rooms are nice and in tibetian style. The owners, a nepalese and a tibetian, are very friendly. Breakfast is ok.
Great location and very quaint
We were traveling with a tour group and found the accommodations to be just what we were expecting in Tibet. Our room was very spacious and faced the street, but in the evenings there was very little noise.
The restaurant food was very good and the staff very personable.
My only complaint is it wasn't as clean as I would have liked, but then there are always the complimentary slippers to wear while in the room. And when our bath towels were replaced, I'm not sure if they were replaced with clean or rehung because they were always damp. Oops, that was two complaints.
