Itinarary
Day 1: Arrive in Lhasa
Overnight at
Day 2: Sightseeing in Lhasa
In the morning, we visit Potala Palace which is Lhasa's cardinal
landmark and is a wonder of Eastern architecture. It has been a
palace since the fifth or sixth century and was once home to the
Dalai Lama. In the afternoon,we will visit Jokhang Temple. This
temple is possibly the most sacred shrine in Tibet and there is
always a procession of devout Tibetans through the complex.
Surrounding the Jokhang is the Barkor - a maze of narrow cobbled
streets that is the central market of Lhasa.

Day 3: Sightseeing in Lhasa
We will visit Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery and the third day
in Lhasa, Drepung Monastery is
once the world's largest monastery, housing 10.000 monks, It lies
hidden in rocky ridges just beyond the city. Sera Monastery is one
of the best-preserved monasteries in Tibet, within its whitewashed
walls and golden roofs, several hundred monks live and study.

Day 4: Lhasa/ Yamdrok-tso lake/Gyantse (3950meters)
We follow the Friendship Highway to Gyantse, up to Kambala pass
which is 4794m high, we will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso there. It
is one of the three holy lakes in
Day 5:
Gyangtse/ Shigatse /Old Tingri
Morning drive to Shigatse, about 90km from Gyangtse. Visit
Tashilunpo Monastery and the spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas in
Shigatse, then drive by
Overnight at Old Tingri ( Local Guest house, dorm bed).
Day 6 Trek from Old Tingri to Lungthang (4510m).
5 hours/12km/150m up
Our trekking begins Old Tingri go through the Tingri plain. then go
along apart of the Ra-chu Valley, we will see the beautiful valley
senery with extensive meadows and groups of sheep and goats.

Day 7: Trek to Lamna La (5150 m).
8 hours/21km/200m up
The challenging trekking really starts today as we go up into the
mountains. Much uphill walking is done as we climb towards the top
of Lamna La. And we Camp beyoud the top of this pass.

Day 8: Trek to Rongbuk(5100M)
8 hours/19km/420m up/450 down
On our last day of trekking we will wind our way to the end
destination of Rongbuk Everest Base Camp. Continue along the way
towards the main road by passing Zemukh village, connect with the
main road and continue on to the Rongbuk Monastery.

Day 9: Trek to
E.B.C ( 5200M)
2 hours/8km/100m up
Today morning we will have a good relax at Rongphu, and then head up
to E.B.C. It only takes 2 hours hike to E.B.C from Rongphu, this
afternoon, we can also take time to explore Ronghuk glacier.
Overnight Camping at E.B.C
Day 10: EBC/Shegar/Shigatse
we drive a short distance from EBC to Shegar.then follow the
freindship high way back to Shigatse

Day 11:Shigatse to Lhasa
Follow the friendship high way to Lhasa
Overnight ar Lhasa
Day 12:Lhasa to your next stop
Leave Lhasa by air or by train, airport or railway station dropping
off,end tour
