Upon your arrival at the Beijing airport, your local tour guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to your reserved hotel in Beijing. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Overnight in Beijing

Today you will visit the majestic Great Wall (Badaling section) and the Chang Tomb of Ming Tombs. You will be taken on a group tour to the Great Wall, the most famous symbol of China and one of the world's most remarkable architectural wonders. This section was first built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD). Then you will visit to the Ming Tomb the burial site of the emperor Wanli, the 13th emperor of the Ming Dynasty who ruled for 48 years until his death in 1620.
Overnight in Beijing

Today you will first have a stroll on the historic Tiananmen Square which is the largest city square in the world and the spiritual heart of China, and then the magnificent Forbidden City which located in the center of Beijing and used to be the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years. It will be a memorable experience to appreciate the grand traditional Chinese architecture, get insights of the royal families' lives and admire the most precious Chinese historical relics and treasures.

In the afternoon, you will marvel at the incredible Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven. Summer Palace was an imperial summer resort of the Qing Dynasty. It is the most splendid classical garden in China.The Temple of Heaven is a royal sacred site where prayers for good harvests, prosperity and harmonious life are offered.

In the evening, you will be transferred to the Beijing West train station for the overnight train to Lhasa. The train departs from Beijing West Railway Station. It takes about 1 hour to check in as the train takes about 1000 passengers. Please be sure to arrive in train station 1 hour and a half before the train departure. Train T27 from Beijing to Lhasa departs at 20:09, your Tibet Permit will need to be checked when you check in.
Overnight in the train

It is quite a long journey from Beijing to Lhasa by train that will take 43 hours, two days and two nights in the Train. On the first day you will pass through two important provincial capital cities in northwest China, Lanzhou and Xining. Xining is known as the beginning of Qinghai-Tibet Railway. Travelling along the rail line, you could see the scenery of countryside and cities in northwest China. The last stop for today is Xining, where you will arrive at about 16:00.
Overnight in the train

Today, you will witness the most beautiful scenery of Qinghai-Tibet Railway, spectacular land of snows, boundless desert, vast grassland, grand ice mountains, beautiful lakes that will continually appear and strongly attract your heart. You will arrive in Lhasa at about 16:00. Your tour guide will hold a board with your name on it to welcome you at the exit of the train station and escort you from the train station to your reserved hotel in Lhasa.
Overnight in Lhasa

In the morning, go to visit the famous Potala palace and explore the grandest of this myriad chapels, you will experience its audience halls, the jeweled and Golden burial chortens (stupa Tombs) of past Dalai Lamas, and tremendous number of Buddhist frescoes, thangkas, combinations of mandala, etc. Tibet Museum is an important window to introduce the glorious culture of Tibet, as a free Museum in Lhasa, you should not miss it.

In the afternoon, pay a visit to the holist temple in Tibet, the Johkang Temple, built during Songtsen Gonpo's reign by princess Wencheng of Tang Dynasty, 647 A.D, and its famous Barkor Kora, where you can buy or appreciate traditional Tibetan artifacts, religious implements, antiques, books, Tibetan music instrument, Thangkas, and tradition tibetan clothes etc. You will have a chance to get close to appreciate how the artists draw Thangkas at the Thakangka workroom at Barkor.
Overnight in Lhasa

Today, you will visit two important monasteries in Lhasa, the Drepung and the Sera. Drepung monastery is situated at the foothill of a mountain and was founded by Jamyang Choeje in 1416. It was once home of 10000 monks and Ganden podrang in Drepung is famous for it was the government centre during the fifth dalai lama and later moved to the famous potala palace during the fifth dalai lama. After having lunch, continue to visit the Sera Monastery, which was founded in 1419 by Tsongkapa's disciple Jamchen Choeje. The most attractive is its Buddhist Scriptures debating held in the courtyard mostly around 6:00 - 7:30 in the afternoon.
Overnight in Lhasa

Passing by the green farmland of Nyangchu Valley, Yamdro-tso lakes, Karo-la Glacier roadside at 4960m, we move westwards to Tibet's traditional town, Gyantse. The most important attraction for today is Yamdro-tso Lake, and Kubum monastery in Gyantse. Yamdro-tso Lake is shaped like coiling scorpion with deep blue in colour and Kubum monastery has a 35m-high chorten (stupa) with its white layers trimmed with decorative stripes and its crown-like golden dome.
Overnight in Gyangtse

Drive from Gyantse to Shigatse in the morning. In Shigatse, you will visit the famous Tashi Lhunpo monastery where you can see the well preserved largest statue of Jampa (future god) in the world. The monastery itself is abiding place for the successive Penchen Lamas. Then drive to the Sakya county where you can visit the famous Sakya monastery. The most interesting thing in Sakya sect is that the sect do not believe in reincarnation and the head of Sakya sect will wear white cassock and also marry and have children.Then forwards to world highest pass Gyatso-la pass with 5200 m above sea level and take a good rest in Sakya.
Overnight in Sakya County

There is about 5-6 hours driving from Sakya to Rongpuk. The road is under construction. From Tingri to E.B.C with the very rough road, pass the wild grassland, cross the rapids river and high mountains. If it is in clear weather, you can have a glimpse of 4 mountains which are 8000m high or more, that is, Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Everes (8848m), Mt. Qowowuyag (8201m) and Mt Mayalu (8463m).
Overnight in Ronguk Guest House or Tent

Early in the moring to see the sunrise from Rongphu, then to view Mt. Everest. The scenery is fabulous and splendid. After walking, arrive the place to get on the local bus then use half of an hour to arrive at Everest Base camp (Or you also can trekking to Base Camp around 1.5-2 hours one way. It's more interesting and much warmer, but hard to breath). Hike up to the top of the photo point to take pictures of the splendid Mt. Everest. Then in the afternoon go down from EBC and back to Old Tingri.
Overnight in Old Tingri

Today, you need to take the old Tingri road to Saga county. From the old Tingri, you can also see the mount Everest and Shishapangma at 8012m which was the least of the world's 8000m peaks to be climbed. The road condition worsen from old Tingri and it runs parallel to the Himalayan ranges and Nepalian sides called Anapurna ranges. The main road passes through the desolate plain of Digur Tang, with its enormous sand dunes and the closely neighbouring snow peaks of Shishapangma and Langtang to the south. Leaving the Bum-Chu basin, it then descends into the depression of Peiku-tso (4600m), a cobalt blue lake. Saga county is only 69km from the Peiku-tso.
Overnight in Saga Town

Then you are moving towards the Drongpa county, the region around the sources of Brahmaputra river, which is about 167km from the Saga town. Then you will reach a tiny and dusty town on the main road, with a couple of basic guest houses, restaurants and a small monastery called "Old Drongpa". Around the monastery you can see a pile of yak heads carved with "sutras" and "mantras" like "OM MA NI PAD MEY HUM" that is mantra of god of compassion. And new Drongpa is a small town with a couple of shops, hotels and restaurants. It is about 25km apart from the Old Drongpa. Then move towards the Baryang with 4750m above sea level and then drive to Lake Manasarovar.
Camp by the lake

You can relax around the lake shore and experience the natural beauty of the lake. In the summer time, flocks of swans will gather on the lake, bringing grace and life to the area. You can also see so many Tibetans and Hindus praying and circuling around the lake shore for the whole day, snow capped mountains on the background and hundreds of swans gathering on the lake, attracting hundreds and thousands of tourists from all over the world.

In the afternoon, you will reach Tarchen, where is the beginning of the Mt.Kailash Kora, your tour guide will arrange trekking animal and porter and doing some preparation for your following 3 days trekking around Mt.Kailash.

Overnight in Darchen

Traditionally pilgrims undertake 52 km trekking circuit around Mount Kailash, commencing at Darchen (4574m) and crossing the Dolma-la pass on the second day of the three day walk. Darchen is the starting and completion point for the general circuit of the sacred mount. A few kilometers after leaving Darchen, there is a valley called "Sarshung" where porters are waiting for their clients. They will help the clients to take every necessary things on yaks and horses. After two hours, you come upon a grassy plain populated by nomads. There you can refresh yourself in nomadic tent and drink some soft drinks there. For this turn in the valley it is another two hours at least before reaching Drirapuk(4920m). You need to camp or can rest in monastery's guest house made from cement with a few good facilities than others in Drirapuk. At the opposite side of Drirapuk, there you can see small monastery with its guest house little cleaner than others.
Camping

The second day is the hardest and most tough circuit with the Dolma-la pass lying 6.4km ahead but 762m above Drirapuk. The peak of Dolma-la pass is about 5630m above sea level, so it is better to set off early in the morning as the sun rays break over the ridges above. After taking a rest at the peak of Dolma-la pass, you will decending staircase bringing you to Lhachu valley floor, taking about one hour from the pass. From here it is still four hours trekking to the today's final destination with no shelters on the way. It is better to walk on the rightside of the river and finally get to Dzultripuk (with miracle cave of milarepa). It is advisable to get there before other groups because limitted number of rooms are available there in Dzultripuk. Take a good rest in the guest room and prepare for next morning's departure.
Camping

The tour guide will help you to arrange your time and ask he/she to visit the caves, the temple and shrines that has been built around Milarepa's cave. The walk back to Darchen is easy and the exit from the valley can be reached within three hours. At the ending point of the valley, the driver will come to pick you and take you back to Darchen.

Cross the grasslands, come back down east to Saga.
Overnight in Saga

Cross one of the most spectacular mountain passes, topped with prayer flags and wind-driven prayer wheels. You will truly feel like you are on top of the world.
Overnight in Zhangmu

It takes about 5 hours to complete 130km rough asphalt road from Zhangmu to Kathmandu. Your Tibetan tour guide will see you off at the Chinese Border, and your Nepalese tour guide will take care of your Nepal tour continually.
Overnight in Kathmandu

Just enjoy your day in Kathmandu. In the morning, you can visit the Hindu site at Pashupatinath and the Buddhist site of Bodhanath. Your afternoon is at leisure to explore Kathmandu's narrow, bustling streets lined with small shops and restaurants.
