A wedding ceremony was held in a Tibetan village in China’s Sichuan Province. The new bride and groom are both villagers of Gye Tsong Village, Tsewu Township, Derong County, Garze Tibetan .
The bride Wonjin Lhadmo got up very early in the morning, to make up for the wedding, helped by people sharing the same zodiac with her as a local custom. Her hair was braided by triple-colored thread, her head topped by a silver plate.
On the other side of the village, the receiving team from the groom, Tersing Nyima’s family, made of the prestige people of the village and people of the same zodiac of the new couple, was marching toward the bride’s family.
After the wedding banquet at the groom’s, the new couple would dance with the villagers. The wedding will last for a whole day.
