Tibet has established China’s first palm leaf manuscript institution to excavate, rescue, trim and translate palm leaf manuscripts, which are written on the leaves of Pattra tree in Sanskrit by Buddhists hundreds of years ago. Palm leaf manuscript was considered as “Classical Canon of Buddhism”, which is closest to the original teachings of Sakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism.”
