On Jan. 24, the High-level Tibetan Buddhism College of China was holding interesting and fun activities to welcome and celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year. All the faculty and students took part in the games to wave goodbye to the past year and usher in the new.
Kunden Soba has been a faculty member of the college since 2011. With a piece of paper, he wrote his new year’s wish in the Tibetan language. He explained in not quite fluent Mandarin that he wished a happy and propitious new year in 2014. He also hoped that his students can make improvements in their studies and he himself, as well, could scale new heights in his career in the new year.
