A mountain bike race will be held in the Draksum-tso National Forest Park of southeastern Tibet’s Nyingchi Prefecture in May.
The 2nd Mountain Biking Tour of Draksum-tso will last from May 1 to 3, which is also the highest mountain bike race in China.
The 41 km race has 30-percent highway track and 70-percent mountain track including 15.5 km professional track and 12 km amateur track.
At an altitude of over 3,600 meters above sea level, the Draksum-tso with an area of over 6,000 mu is rated as a national 4A-level scenic area in 2000.
