A record number of visitors are expected to enjoy the 12th Nyingchi Peach Blossom Cultural and Tourism Festival in southwest China’s Tibet.

The festival will be opened in Karla Village of Nyingchi County, Mar. 26.

All the preparation work has been completed, including the stage for opening ceremony and luncheon with strong Tibetan flavor.

“As far as we know, four special trains have been booked for the festival, and there is hardly any air ticket left from Chengdu to Nyingchi,” said Tsewang Bandan, deputy director of Nyingchi County.
